Best travel influencers on TikTok

What I like about this social media is that it always presents new and entertaining ideas, even though it is always in a video format. What I do not like: It is wa-a-y time-consuming!

So, without further ado, let’s get straight to the point. Here are my top recommended travel accounts on Tiktok to follow:

@ericdamier

A castell is a traditional human tower built at festivals in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and the Valencian Community. Several colles castelleres attempt to build and dismantle the structure of a tower at these festivals. In 2010, Castell was added on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity as a “integral part of (Catalan) cultural identity.” Have you seen a traditional event that you absolutely loved? Comment blew and let us know about it! 🎥@josep_torrenyo @castellersdevilafranca @moncasteller 📍Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸

What people say on Reddit

Ungracefulguide they are so real (and hilarious), they show what budget travel is really like and don’t care about instaperfect photoshoots. They have travelled all over but are currently in Central America. They had a child just before COVID so they went home to Ireland for a while but now they are back travelling and have her with them (she’s adorable too!)

I like Gabriel Traveler, he presents the most realistic view of solo/budget/independent travel in my opinion. He’s kind of boring to be honest but he seems like a cool dude.

I like The Budgeteers, or at least their series on Central America. They do things on a budget but aren’t stingy or cheap, mostly they hitchhike. Their personalities are shown and their experiences there were largely in line with my own, although I certainly wasn’t hitchhiking.

generallyok

@unplanned.destinations a pretty small account but I like that the couple are regular working people who prioritize travel rather than the other blogs which are often about the nomad life

Ecstatic_Fun_4793

I used to love Kamiya Jani’s (Curly Tales) travel videos, but recently she has stopped doing travel videos and focuses more on celeb interviews and different types of content. Other travel vloggers do the travel videos on her channel now and I don’t find them that interesting tbh.
